                        *** GO64! ***

After the demise of the last German C64/C128 magazine "64'er", me and some
friends decided to make our own German Commodore magazine. It will be
called GO64!, and will be available via subscription only. But let me tell
you first a few facts. 

We are five editors, 2 in Germany, 3 in Austria. The German guys are
CSW/Plush and Vectrocon/Fairlight, the Austrian guys are
Spockie/T'Pau, 2Hip/T'Pau and Rudi/GIG (GEOS Interests Group). The
magazine will go into layout in Austria and will be printed and
shipped in Germany.

Our papermag will be partially in color, partially in black and white,
a disk is included in each issue. We will publish 12 issues a year.

We want to cover as many C64/C128 topics as possible, e.g. GEOS,
hardware- and software reviews, scene related topics, internet stuff,
games, hardware projects, reports, news, etc.

To get as many subscribers as possible, we initially wanted to place
an ad into the remainders of 64'er magazine to reach 12.000 readers,
but after negotiating a price and sending the ad, 64'er refused to
print it, as they ment, that too many people could subscribe our mag
and leave theirs. So we are urged to go other ways, we cooperate with
PPE and CMD and all GEOS groups, we spread our news via IRC,
newsgroups and diskmags.

We really need every single subscriber, so please spread the news,
that a new german C64 magazine will be out soon.

Some general info: A testsubscription of 3 issues costs DM 24, a full
subscription costs DM 94. These prices are for German subscribers, for
shipping to foreign countries we have to charge a small ammount
additionally, but at this point I don't know how much it will be, but
I am sure, it won't be too much.
