The files thinktank1.sfx and thinktank2.sfx contain as much of Thinktank's C/G artwork as I could find. A C/G editor is included in thinktank1.sfx. XmikeX From : Diamondback BBS (305)258-5039 Date : November 18, 1994 ------ Alex Quevedo was 20 years old. He was known all over South Florida for the outstanding Commodore Graphics Screens he designed. He went by the Handle of "ThinkTank"..... In the 10 years I have been using the Commodore system, I have never seen any graphic work any better than his. He designed the opening screens and graphic intro screens for just about every Commodore BBS within a 50 mile range of Miami, and setup some others across the nation... Yesterday, "ThinkTank," in his second year of College, was rundown buy a truck while trying to push his disabled jeep off the highway... It was a senseless death, and took the life of one of our very good friends in the prime of his life... We, here in South Florida, will miss ThinkTank. He was never too busy to crank out One More Designer Screen for any SysOp who asked him. He had a great future in the computer world... Now, that is all gone! Those of you who enjoy Commodore Graphics artwork will appreciate the great loss we feel here. There rest of you can just skip over this post, and write it off as an experience you missed...... SMS MIKE (SysOp of Diamondback BBS) -------------------------------------------- Things must happen for a reason, the universe blossoms from the chain of cause and effect. I did not know Thinktank, I knew only his work, but that was sufficient. The incredible rendition of Bonk, the impressive BBS intros, all are remembered firmly in my mind. For many people, his art is still the C/G standard to follow.
