Sequencer V1.0 (1995) --------------------- Sequencer V1.0 is a program for the Commodore 64 that is useful for working with samples, for making own digitized songs from more patterns. It is very short ($0830-$11FF), therefore you have enough space for samples ($1200-$FFFF)! That's the reason, why the control is not too comfortable ;-) It uses NMI timing. SPEED is a low byte of timer (TIMER A) SPEED -> $DD04 #$00 -> $DD05 If speed is set to $90 (high quality), playtime of samples from $1200 to $FFFF is about 18 sec. How to record your own sound: ----------------------------- This utility supports USER PORT 4-bits samplers connected to data pins C-F and other data pins H-L connected to GND-0V. START playing (on the cursor position): ----- press '<-' (to hold '<-' key, fix the adress count.) STOP playing (& go to CONTROL mode): ---- ------- press 'RUN/STOP' Commands in CONTROL mode: ------------------------- RECORD ------ 1.Insert FROM - TO and SPEED on the last line of the screen ($90 = fastest 'Hi quality') ($FF = slow 'LOW quality') 2.'F2' to start reading samples from USER PORT sampler and playing (It is time to start the music and set the equalizer on your HI-FI) 3.'SPACE' to start recording to memory COPY ---- 1.Insert START - END and HI-byte of NEWSTART (on the SPEED position) (on the last line of the screen) 2.'F4' SAVE ---- 1.Insert START - END (on the last line of the screen) 2.'F6' EXIT to BASIC ------------- 'F8' (don't use standard RESET) RESTART ------- SYS 2096 If you have some questions, ideas, or if you enjoy this program...
