Description file for midi-sid.lnx:

Here is version 2.0 of the MIDI-SID-CONNECTION.  This is a lynxed file con-
taining executable programs, documentation, source code, and samples.  It
is a pair of programs which accept real-time MIDI (musical instruement
digital interface) input (i.e. you sit down and play away on a MIDI capable
musical instrument), and produce either mono or stereo SidPlayer files.
C64 MIDI interface cartridge (any type) and disk drive required; stereo
modification or Sid Symphony cartridge optional.

Additional info:

"midi-sid.lnx" contains both the "Power-C" C source codes and the
compiled executable files to be ran on a C64. As mentioned above
to use this program you need to have a MIDI interface. This interface
can be bought through number of mail-oder companies. If you are
electronically oriented and have the right equipment there is a   
schematic in the "infos-ideas-projection" subdirectory on how
to build a MIDI inferface for the C64 yourself.
